Many of the FCBID’s plans for Fiscal 2002–2003 and beyond will depend upon our assessment funding. Since our founding nine years ago, the FCBID has operated within the same budget, using now depleted surplus funds to expand or increase services as needed. This year we are requesting an increase that will enable us to maintain the level of services and programs that we have achieved. This increase, amortized over nine years, is 3%. The Fashion Center District Management Association, Inc. (also known as the Fashion Center Business Improvement District, or FCBID) requests a $4,000,000 assessment for 2002–2003. The Fashion Center District Management Association, Inc. may apply for government grants or may accept corporate contributions for funding of its programs in the coming year.
