District streets are cleaned seven days a week by uniformed Sanitation staff, working with building management, businesses and the NYC Department of Sanitation. Specialized services include graffiti removal, street furniture painting and other maintenance services.

Staffing & Hours of Operation
The FCBID Sanitation Department consists of 4 supervisors and 23 Sanitation workers. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. On weekends, the FCBID’s private contractor, Jag Maintenance, is on duty 7:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

Record of Success
In the past year, the FCBID Sanitation team collected more trash than ever before; 541.9 tons were collected in 80,904 of the FCBID’s signature logo bags. Grand totals to date are 5,131 tons of trash collected in 730,839 bags since the FCBID was formed. Mayor’s Operation Scorecard ratings were similarly impressive. Ratings this year were as follows: Streets were 95.7% clean and Sidewalks were 96.3% clean.
