The Fashion Center Information Kiosk and www.fashioncenter.com are vital sources of business-to-business information, promoting Fashion District businesses nationally and internationally. This past year a record 27,500 individuals visited the Information Kiosk or accessed its information.

TOUCHSCREEN KIOSKS In December 2005, two FCBID video display touch screen terminals, similar to the touch-screen display at the Fashion Center Information Kiosk, were installed in the Port Authority Bus Terminal. In addition to bus station schedules and information, the terminals display information about the Fashion District, including information on local restaurants and retailers.

STAFFING AND HOURS OF OPERATION The Fashion Center Information Kiosk, located on Seventh Avenue at 39th Street, is open to the public Monday to Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Inquiries may be made in person during those hours or by calling 212.398.7943, faxing 212.398.7945 or emailing info@fashioncenter.com.

WEBSITE & MAP In Spring 2006, the FCBID’s award-win-ning website, www.fashioncenter.com, will be redesigned. Among the changes to site will be the addition of more neighborhood information, reflecting a growing interest in the Fashion District as a destination neighborhood. Similarly this spring, the FCBID district map will be updated and redesigned as well. The map features information about ground floor retailers, eateries and other consumer oriented establishments.
