PUBLIC SAFETY

Fashion Center: Public Safety

The FCBID’s 22 uniformed public safety officers keep the district safe seven days a week, and work closely with the NYPD and related agencies to target areas of concern. They also provide district building managers with special safety bulletins and programs to improve security and provide general information to pedestrians. Public safety officers and department supervisors regularly attend training seminars and participate in various public safety committees and programs aimed at providing best practices, counter terrorism training opportunities and information sharing.
