Catch a flight from a Manhattan rooftop! The Fashion Center BID invites you to let your imagination soar at our third annual Kite Flight. Join us on the top of the Port Authority Bus Terminal for an afternoon of kite-making, kite-flying, crafts and free food, music and fun!

Featuring kite experts including Glenn Davidson and miwa et marco, music by Louie & Subanda, yoga demonstrations by OM Factory, Dancing in the Streets, and other special guests.

Participating and sponsoring organizations include: Children for Children Foundation, Free Arts NYC, Lower Eastside Girls Club, Materials for the Arts, M&S Schmalberg, Tinsel Trading Company.

Rooftop parking lot of the Port Authority Bus Terminal 7th floor, south wing, Eighth Avenue at 40th Street.

Kite Festival: Getting Here

To get to the roof, enter the Port Authority south wing on Eighth Avenue off of West 40th Street. Follow the Kite Flight signs to the elevator near the Duane Reade. Take the elevator to the 7th floor.
